Plastic (PPS GF40): Lightweight and cost-optimized for high-volume heat pump builds. Glass-fiber reinforced PPS body, EPDM seals. Threaded or QuickFasten connections.
Stainless steel: For higher pressure or harsher media. Robust stainless housing, threaded connections. Same 5 V / 0.5-3.5 V electrical interface.
FAQ
Can I move to a digital or industrial output instead?
Yes. Besides the 0.5-3.5 V version, VVX sensors are available with IO-Link, 4-20 mA, 0-10 V and frequency outputs if you want a more standard industrial protocol.
Is it really a drop-in replacement?
Same 5 V supply and 0.5-3.5 V flow signal, scaled exactly to your VFS flow range. Same M12 connector too. The only change is body length, so check the dimension drawing for your size.
Do I need to change my controller or software?
No. The output CAN BE scaled to match your existing VFS range.
Do I need new cables?
No. SIKA uses the same M12 connector as the VFS, so it plugs into your existing harness.
What's the lead time and minimum order?
