As part of its 125th anniversary and the SIKA initiative “Wärme schenken”, SIKA has donated €2,041.85 to the ASB Wünschewagen Nordhessen. The total donation consists of €1,141.85 from employees and €900 from the management team.
With this campaign, SIKA is supporting a project that fulfils final wishes for seriously ill people in the last stage of their lives. The ASB Wünschewagen enables passengers to visit a place of personal significance once again – for example the seaside, a family celebration or another place that means a great deal to them. These journeys are provided free of charge for the passengers. The service is funded through donations and voluntary commitment.
The donation was handed over at SIKA in the presence of representatives from ASB Kassel-Nordhessen. Larissa Groffmann and Lukas Müller were on site to present the project and provide insights into the work of the Wünschewagen.
According to ASB, the Wünschewagen Nordhessen fulfilled a total of 33 final wishes in 2025. Since its launch in North Hesse in 2019, the project has become firmly established in the region.
For SIKA, the donation campaign is part of an anniversary year that is deliberately intended to create social and community-focused momentum as well. Further hands-on and support initiatives will follow throughout the year under the “Wärme schenken” campaign umbrella.
